Sateen uses a 4-over-1 weave, which exposes more of each cotton thread to the surface — that's what gives it a subtle sheen and a heavier, silkier drape than percale. It's the weave people choose when they want their bed to feel a little more indulgent, especially in cooler months. Same 100% long-staple cotton as the rest of our collection, just a different personality.
